Numbers continue to rise at Reynolds Academy and building work to provide a new classroom is now well underway.
The classroom will provide the opportunity for smaller class sizes and give staff the opportunity to expand the intervention programme, supporting children who need extra provision.
A number of year groups at Reynolds Academy are now full and the Reception class continues to be over-subscribed.
Andy Clark, Reynolds Academy Principal, explained: "The new classroom will support our vision of expanding opportunities for young people in the local area. The new build is an excellent example of the superb resources put in place by Tollbar Multi Academy Trust to help raise academic standards and boost confidence and aspirations.
"It will help our continued drive to improve progress and attainment across all areas, notably reading, writing and Mathematics."
