The Academy is extremely delighted and proud of the report that recognises the tremendous progress the Academy has made since opening in September 2013. The report highlights effective leadership, good teaching and a well-constructed curriculum. The report also states that pupils are making good progress since the inception of Reynolds Academy and are well behaved with a good attitude to learning. The report recognises the impact and influence of Tollbar Multi Academy Trust in securing progress and shows the value of belonging to the Tollbar Family of Academies. However we understand there is always room for improvement and the Academy will be working hard to achieve further progress in the years to come.

Ofsted is the Office for Standards in Education. Ofsted inspects nurseries, schools, colleges, teacher training providers and local authorities (LAs).
School inspections are required by law and schools are normally inspected on a six-year cycle. A school inspection is a process of gathering information in order to provide an assessment of how well a school is performing. This is achieved by analysing data, observing lessons, interviewing teachers, analysing pupils' work, meeting with parents, pupils and governors. Inspections are conducted by a team of inspectors, led by a registered inspector.
