More than 100 grandparents visited Reynolds Academy for the annual Foundation Stage One Grandparents Day and to see the younger children's work on growing and development.
Grandparents Day is always popular and Robbie Lidgard's Grandad and Grandma, Karen and David Dable, were delighted to see what their three-year-old grandson has been learning about.
Karen said: "It's been lovely, so nice to see what they are up to. We have looked through Robbie's Learning Journal which is all about his development. We could see everything he has done. It is really interesting to see how much they do at such a young age."
Lola-Rose Chester's Nanny, Debbie Downes, joined her in the playground. She said: "It is the second time I have been into the academy. I like to see her friends as well as her work. I also pick up tips from staff on how the children interact and take instruction."
Reynolds Academy Nursery Leader, Jane Day, said: "The children have been talking about growing in class. Grandparents Day is always popular. We have had over 100 grandparents visit in a day and the children love it."
