Reynolds Academy's Year 3 and 4 athletes excelled when they came 9th out of 48 teams in the annual QuadKids Athletics Tournament held at King George V Stadium.
Individual performances saw Alexander Clarke come 5th out of 192 boys and Lola Best come 11th out of 192 girls. The event saw athletes competing against each other in sprint, run, throw, jump and relay races.
Tollbar Academy Sports Leaders were measuring and officiating the events on the day.
Dan Coulling, Curriculum Leader for P.E. at Reynolds Academy, said: "Once again our athletes made us very proud with outstanding performances both on the track and in the field. Five children came first in their 75m sprint heats, and all of the children gave maximum effort throughout the day.
"It was also great for our children to be inspired by the Tollbar Sports Leaders who were very professional whilst officiating the event. Well done to all involved."
